Thermal insulation board system, generally including ETICS/EIFS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System / Exterior Insulation Finish System).
In order to save cost of heating or cooling power, a good bonding mortar needs to have: easy to mix, easy to operate, non-stick knife, good anti-hanging effect, good initial adhesion and other characteristics. The plaster mortar needs to have: easy to stir, easy to spread, non-stick knife, long development time, good wet ability for the net cloth, not easy to cover and other characteristics. The above requirements can be achieved by adding suitable cellulose ether products like JINJI Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose to the mortar.

1. Cellulose ether (HPMC/MHEC)
JINJI CHEMICAL® Cellulose Ether ensures that the water in the mortar is not absorbed too quickly by the insulation board, giving the cement enough time to hydrate and achieve its final strength. It enhances the workability of the mortar, making it smoother during application and reducing sagging.
Recommended grade: JINJI HP8081-100J; JINJI HM8081-100J
2. Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP)
JINJI CHEMICAL® RDP enhances the bond strength between mortar and insulation boards, and make the hardened mortar become more flexible, which enables the insulation system to withstand thermal stress caused by temperature fluctuations, preventing cracking and improving impact resistance.
Recommended grade: JINJI 5001 ; JINJI 8034S
