Due to the prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the resulting disruption to international shipping and petrochemical supply chains, global prices for essential industrial raw materials continue to rise sharply.

The production of cellulose ether and construction additives relies on a range of critical upstream materials, including petroleum-based chemical feedstocks, refined cotton, VAE-related raw materials, and polymer intermediates. In recent months, all of these materials have experienced substantial cost increases.
